About
“You’ll travel far, ya ken, travelin’ from the thin to the thick, the boots you wear will wear like the skin on yer face, and then travel farther yet, from the thin to the thick”
Motokool is about a boy growing up in Ireland in the 1960′s, tensions are high, money is hard, and the people are nervous. Wars, the IRA, poverty, this all means very little to Jarvis, who lives on a piece of land with his grandfather. One of the few goals that Jarvis wants to have is simply trying have fun, avoiding confrontation, and perhaps one day waiting for his grandfather to hand down his disgustingly dirty motorcycle to Scout. Unfortunately things are in the forest, and they’ve been waiting there for a very long time, waiting for the tiny family to venture beyond the safety of the property line…
Motokool Scottish is completely dedicated to two people, both of my grandfathers, one of he toughest Scotsman and German guys I know, and most caring guys I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting, and even further… being related to. There days of owning a motorcycle and traveling from place to place inspired me to now have my own motorcycle, the ugliest, most unique motorcycle I could ever find. Once I read the short story Mrs Todd Shortcut, and Bone, I was inspired to finally put this together. I hope you all enjoy reading, and cheers to you for doing so.
