Trying out some nifty things with coloring and line work, which is always fun (maybe I could say dandy). So this marks the spot in the comic where things will be bumped up a notch
Damn… looks like you already beat me to the “coolest sticker club”… I better find something else to dwell on, like cigarettes and beef jerky *shudders*
If you ask me, that and beer all sound like a lovely combination. And you could put some stickers on them all. Not the beef jerky. Well. Maybe it’s container. Yeah. That’d be pretty cool.
awesome comic, I just stumbled upon it after reading the phoenix requiem… this is a very cool comic, can’t wait to see where it goes.. keep up the awesome work!
Thank you for the kind words Tony, Phoenix Requiem is an awesome comic, some of the best out there! I’m really looking forward to getting the next few posts up
I’m assuming it’s not a book that’s widely known, since it took me three bookstores and eventually an online source to find the last one but the series starts with “Aurian” and it is by Maggie Fury. It’s been a long time since I read it but I believe it had a character named Jarvis.
Wow, you’re right about it not being colossally known, I tried to wiki it to see the plot/synopsis, but there is nothing about them, there is however a tiny wiki about Maggie Furey (which is an awesome name)
I am in agreement with you over her name (my name is lame. :[ ) Yeah, I think I was in one of those indie book stores when I picked up Aurian, and the adventure to find the rest of them was actually kind of the best part to the books. Suffice it to say, I own them all. Which, I suppose would only mean something if you knew that I only own books that I will read over and over. (I used to have a huge collection, but I donated them to my high school because their supply was a bit pathetic.) Sorry about the rambles.
Rambles are awesome so don’t apologize for that, but I may need to find a bookstore of similar qualities and see what kind of awesome things I can discover, used to read A LOT, but since I started Scout as a 3rd comic, my time has been pretty limited.
One wicked thing about the internet is that you can find basically anything. It definitely is not as neat as a book store… IMO. I like books. Not just reading, but like.. books. I have found that with my writing I usually can hardly find time that I feel like spending on reading rather than making something to be read. I used to read everything. Everything.
I totally lub this. And I’ve abused the word “dandy” today. Haha.
i am entirely happy that you have abused that word, and have made my day doing so
=D That’s DANDY, Scott. =]
I’d give you a spiderman sticker for that! (if I didn’t use them all…)
It’s cool. I have my own, they’re more like ladybuggirl stickers, except she has absolutely no human traits. That’s her super power.

I already told you I love villainguy, but dammit I love villainguy.
He (so far) is one of my favorite character designs, and he’ll be fun to write for.
Awesome new char. Can’t wait to see what he’s all about.
So far, he’s more fleshed out than Jarvis is (but this chapter ends soon too)
this is quite fantastic
I’m really happy you think so, thank you
My…god…so worth the wait!
I’m happy you think so, Motokool let’s me really push myself with the art more than I can with the other comics I do
That… that looks an awful lot like a knife. In his face. Some kinda new-fangled hardcore-scene-kid-masochism?
hahaha, In the next post or two I’ll go into the story about the knife (and we all know hardcore scenekids but knives in other places)

I know I tend to post on Scout crossing, BUT IMMA CHANGIN IT UP A BIT.
Because I read all three of them, and enjoy then greatly. Keep the good work flowin man. Wonderfully done as usual.
Thanks Austin! I hope that things can only get better over time, I can’t wait to get Scout and Motokool into the “main” part of the story
This is beautiful! I can’t wait to know more about these characters. The name Jarvis is from one of my favorite book series. :^)
Jarvis was pretty much a name I decided on a whim, but I would love to hear about this book series you mentioned, and thank you for the kind words

Then I can’t wait to see what you publish, if you’re this passionate
Correction: I recognize the name from the book. I’m doubting it originates there.
good for u lame(or M whichever u prefer);) LoL
I have to say, I really enjoy your art style and your colours. I love warm colours. It’s pleasurable for my eyeballs.
